Freedivesites on Gozo.
Desertedness, tranquillity, nature and little infrastructure characterise the Gozo coast. The only larger town in the south of the island is the eastern port of Mgarr. The ferries of the Gozo Channel Company dock here all year round. They not only transport tourists from one island to the other, but are also the lifeline for trade. Countless small luzzus anchor in the harbour and regularly sail out to sea to catch fish or bring the odd tourist to the lonely island of Comino. After the arrival of a ferry, there is a lively hustle and bustle in Gozo's harbour, which five minutes later, after all the arrivals have spread out on the island, turns into a sleepy nest again. The diving areas are completely different.
