Mġarr ix-Xini

Popular dive site for many reasons. From a freedivers perspective its great because it is sheltered ninety nine percent of the time. Mġarr ix-Xini looks like a fjord and you can enter the water from head or the tail of the fjord. If you enter from the inland side there is usually a parking spot meters away from the sea. Entering from the outside, by the cliffs , then you must walk down many stairs but this lands you on the deep end of the fjord, still sheltered but around 20-25m deep.
